Josh's Cone 10 Satin Blue-Green

Cone 10
This is a satin glaze that breaks from turquoise to a grayish-cobalt blue with fine crystals forming. Tests with %6 silica or ball clay are still a little runny, but I expect adding %8-10 would produce a pretty stable glaze. I’ve found this recipe, without either silica or clay added, makes a great liner for cups and bowls, where you don’t have to worry about it running off the pot.
